Authority Grey is the mid-tone of the range — a cool, even cement grey with faint cloudy movement and no repeating pattern, so a large floor reads as one continuous surface rather than a grid of identical squares. It is the colour most people pick when they want a concrete look that stays neutral against oak, black metal or white sanitaryware. Rectified on all four edges, in 60x60cm, 120x60cm and 120x120cm, with a matching bullnose step tile.
Choosing this tile. R10 covers floors and walls in bathrooms, kitchens, halls and living rooms — it is not a wet-room shower floor or a terrace rating, and for those the 20mm Authority Grey terrace slab (structured, R11, frost resistant) is the right piece. All formats take underfloor heating. Rectified edges allow a 2mm joint (1.5mm on the 60x60cm), and a 6 m² bathroom floor in 60x60cm comes to roughly five boxes with a 10% cutting allowance. The range is V2 for shade variation, so buy the whole job in one order rather than topping up later.
Grey is the colour we see used most often across a hall and up a staircase, which is why the 30x60cm bullnose step is worth ordering at the same time — it finishes a stair nose properly instead of leaving a cut edge. Boxes come direct from Paradyż in Poland, so allow 2-3 weeks; the 120x120cm box is 53kg and needs two people plus a levelling system.
