The darkest Authority in 20mm outdoor form — a deep charcoal concrete face with a structured surface, pressed thick enough to sit on gravel, sand or adjustable pedestals instead of being bonded down. The texture is what makes it R11 rather than the R10 of the smooth indoor tile, which is the rating you want underfoot on a wet terrace.
Choosing this slab. Graphite gives the sharpest contrast against planting and timber, and it is the one to pick if the patio is framed by pale render or light gravel. Be realistic about maintenance: a dark slab shows dried rain spotting and pollen more than the grey does, so it suits a terrace that gets swept rather than one under trees. Frost resistant, PEI 5. Lay with a 5mm joint. Two slabs per 60x60cm box, one per 120x60cm box, about 30kg each — around fourteen boxes for a 10 m² patio.
It is usually bought to continue the indoor Authority Graphite outside, so the same floor runs through the glazing. Ordered per box from Paradyż in Poland — allow 2-3 weeks.
