Authority Graphite is the darkest of the three — a deep charcoal cement face that reads almost black in low light and grey where daylight hits it. It is a colour for a deliberate, high-contrast scheme: dark floor against pale walls, or a full dark stairwell. Because the surface is matt and lightly clouded rather than flat, it hides less dust than a solid black tile but shows footmarks more than the beige does, which is worth knowing before committing a whole kitchen floor to it.
Choosing this tile. The R10 rating suits floors and walls in bathrooms, kitchens, halls and living rooms, but not a wet-room shower floor or an outdoor terrace — use the 20mm Authority Graphite terrace slab for those, which is structured, R11 and frost resistant. Fine over underfloor heating. Rectified edges take a 2mm grout joint (1.5mm on the 60x60cm); pick a grout close to the tile colour, because a pale grout turns a dark floor into a visible grid. Allow about five boxes of 60x60cm for a 6 m² floor including 10% for cuts, and order the whole job at once — Authority is V2 shade variation.
Graphite is the one customers pair with the matching 30x60cm bullnose step for stairs, which is how Paradyż shows it in the range photography. Ordered per box from Poland, so allow 2-3 weeks; the 120x120cm box weighs 53kg and is a two-person lift needing a levelling system.
