The outdoor version of Ritual Taupe: the same warm greige stone face, pressed to 20mm and given a structured surface. The thickness is what allows it to be laid dry on gravel, sand or adjustable pedestals as well as bonded to a slab, and the texture is what takes the slip rating to R11 — the number that counts once the surface is wet.
Choosing this slab. It comes in one format, 120x60cm, one slab per box at just under 30kg, covering 0.71 m². A 10 m² patio is therefore about fifteen boxes and 450kg to move, so plan delivery access before ordering. Frost resistant for Irish winters, and laid with a 5mm joint rather than the 2mm you would use indoors. The warm tone is worth thinking about outdoors: taupe stays warm under grey skies where a cooler grey slab can look flat.
Most people buy it to continue the 8mm indoor Ritual Taupe past a set of patio doors, so the floor reads as one surface inside and out with only the joint width changing. Ordered per box from Paradyż in Poland — allow 2-3 weeks.
