Architeq Brown is the darkest earth tone in the range — a deep cocoa-brown porcelain with a matt concrete texture. It is unglazed and coloured through the body, so an edge chip shows brown rather than a white core. On a dark matt floor that matters more than it sounds: this is the finish that keeps looking intact in a hallway or boot room after a few winters.
Choosing this tile. Rated R10, so it is usable on a wet-room or shower floor, not just a general bathroom floor. Frost resistant and terrace-rated, which is why it is often run from a kitchen straight out to a patio — 2 mm joints indoors, 5 mm outside. Worth knowing before you commit: dark matt floors show dust and dried water marks more readily than pale ones, so if the room gets heavy barefoot traffic, the lighter Beige in the same range is the easier surface to live with. Fine over underfloor heating. The 120x120 tile weighs 26.7 kg — two people and a levelling system. Order the whole job in one batch; shade shifts slightly between production runs.
