Architeq Beige is a warm sand-toned porcelain tile with a matt, lightly textured concrete finish. Unlike glazed tiles, it is unglazed and coloured right through the body — a chipped edge shows the same beige, not a white core — which is why this range gets specified for hallways, utility rooms and commercial floors that take real traffic.
Choosing this tile. The slip rating is R10, a step up from the R9 of most glazed floor tiles, so this one is usable on a wet-room or walk-in shower floor as well as a general bathroom floor. It is frost resistant and rated for terraces, so the same tile can run from an indoor floor straight out onto a patio (open the joint to 5 mm outdoors, 2 mm inside). It suits underfloor heating. The 60x60 and 120x60 both cover 1.43 m² per box, so a 6 m² floor needs five boxes with the usual ~10% cutting allowance; the 120x120 covers 2.87 m² per box but each tile weighs 26.7 kg, so plan for two people and a levelling system. Shade varies slightly between batches — order the full job at once.
