Description

Archicross Concept Beige is what Paradyż call an interweaving of materials — concrete and stone read as one surface. A warm sand ground carries subtle and more pronounced colour transitions, delicate inclusions and irregular patterning, giving the face real depth rather than a repeating print. It pairs industrial roughness with the look of natural mineral formations, and it is the most characterful of the four Archicross lines.

The finish is the slip rating. Matt is R10 and Structure A is R11 — the same beige in both, plus a pressed step tile to finish a tread edge. Matt suits dry floors and walls; Structure A is the one for a shower floor or wet room. Because the pattern is identical across both, you can run R11 through the shower zone and R10 across the rest of the bathroom and the floor still reads as one surface.

What “structure” actually means here. Structure A is not a printed effect — the surface is physically raised, a fine dense grain you feel under a bare foot, closer to fine grit paper than to the smooth tile you would put on a kitchen wall. That relief is what produces the grip, and it also means the structured face holds dirt in the texture rather than wiping straight off.

Laying it. The colour is fired through the body — Paradyż’s crossover technology gives the same tone in the tile’s cross-section as on its face, so a chipped edge does not show a pale core. The mottling is strong enough that tile-to-tile variation is part of the effect: dry-lay a few boxes and mix across them, or the darker faces cluster in one corner. A mid-tone grout works better here than a bright white. Every format covers 1.43 m² per box at 26.6 kg, so a 6 m² floor is five boxes with the usual ~10% cutting allowance. Rectified edges take a 2 mm joint; suits underfloor heating.
