Archicross Stone White is stone seen in cross-section at its lightest — soft grey veining tracing around irregular mineral forms on an off-white ground. It gives a pale floor the movement of a natural stone without the weight of a dark tile.
The finish is the slip rating. Matt is R10 and Structure A is R11, the same white stone in both, plus a pressed step tile. Matt for dry floors and walls, Structure A for a shower floor or wet room; the pattern is identical across both.
What “structure” actually means here. Structure A is not a printed effect — the surface is physically raised, a fine dense grain you feel under a bare foot, closer to fine grit paper than to a smooth kitchen wall tile. On a pale tile the texture is subtle to the eye but obvious underfoot, and it holds dirt in the relief, which shows sooner on white than on a mid tone.
Laying it. The colour is fired through the body, so a chipped edge does not reveal a darker core. This is the one to look at for a light bathroom that wants the look of veined stone with a genuine R11 underfoot — a combination that is hard to find, since most veined pale tiles are polished and slippery. Dry-lay and mix across boxes so the veining distributes evenly; a white or pale grey grout keeps the joints from cutting across the pattern. Every format covers 1.43 m² per box at 26.6 kg — a 6 m² floor is five boxes with the usual ~10% cutting allowance. Rectified edges take a 2 mm joint; suits underfloor heating.
