On black the relief catches the light, so the structured face reads slightly lighter than the flat Matt.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eLaying it.\u003c\/strong\u003e The colour is fired through the body, so a chipped edge stays black. The pale veining is what makes this tile, and it is also what makes it demanding: it wants an uninterrupted run to be seen properly — a full shower wall, a hallway floor — and it will overwhelm a small room. Dry-lay and mix across boxes so the veining does not cluster. A dark grout keeps the joints out of the way of the pattern. Every format covers 1.43 m² per box at 26.6 kg — a 6 m² floor is five boxes with the usual ~10% cutting allowance.
