No one likes talking about toilets – it’s definitely not a conversational topic that comes up often. But regardless of the stigma around talking about our commodes, they are something we use every day and that are essential to our lives. Toilets are the most important thing in any bathroom.
Being one of the essentials in everyone’s lavatory, toilets should be clean, functional, aesthetically pleasing, and practical – but not all of them are. We’ve all seen our fair share of toilets that we’d much rather not see again.
Luckily, we at the Bathroom Store Ireland have taken these factors into consideration and put together a collection of state of the art wall hung toilets that we know will upgrade any bathroom suite.
Functional, beautiful, practical, and modern; our collection of wall hung toilets have all the best features a toilet can have and will never disappoint you. Easily kept clean, these commodes will never look a notch under stunning, and they will make your bathroom look as contemporary as ever.
So, no longer do you have to be embarrassed about your 10 year old standard toilet or the hard-to-reach places under and behind it. Now you can be confident knowing that your toilet looks good and functions perfectly. Say goodbye to your old toilet and say hello to your new porcelain throne.
The traditional toilet’s plumbing is quite simple: the toilet’s tank has 2 functions which are storing water for the flush and releasing water into the bowl for the flush. The water comes through internal pipes and floods the bowl with enough water to create pressure for the waste to go through the trap and out to the sewage.
This kind of toilet has many downsides; first, their design is bulky and does not allow easy cleaning around it; second, they use around 50% or more water than actually necessary to dispose of waste; and third, they are very prone to malfunctioning, breaking, or leaking (which wastes even more water than they already do).
Our design of wall hung toilets have eliminated not one, but all of these problems! Our toilet has a much simpler plumbing system than that of a traditional toilet: the Geberit Duofix modern toilet systwards combating unnecessary water waste and conserving the planet.em is a cistern that stores all the water the toilet needs; the best part? It is concealed within the wall behind your toilet and is much more technologically advanced than a traditional toilet tank.
Our design concept is beautifully displayed in the toilet’s glossy white streamline appearance. All of our toilets come with Soft Close technology, erasing the embarrassingly loud toilet seat drops. In addition to this, our wall hung toilets use around 20% of the water that a traditional toilet uses, thus cutting your water expenses in half, and conserving as much water as possible. Not only did the Bathroom Store Ireland think of offering you the most beautiful toilet on the market, but we also consider saving water essential in the fight to
On another note, not all of us have lofty bathroom suites with loads of room to spare. Most people in Ireland today have just enough space to store all the necessary items in their bathroom, but none to spare. When this is the case, the bathroom begins to look a little crowded. But is there a solution to this? Of course! In this section of our blog we’d like to give you tips on how to organize your things in a way that opens up more space in your lavatory and how to make your bathroom look more spacious.
Organizing a room can be tedious, but it is also an instantly gratifying thing to do. Gathering and separating the items in a bathroom can be so simple that it won’t take you more than a few minutes to do.
The first thing we recommend you do is buy some storage containers of your preference. They should be aesthetically pleasing if they will be exposed, preferably with a top (or you may want to display some and put others away, so you can buy an assortment of styles if necessary).
Second, gather all the items you would like to organize into a space that allows you to view each item. Now begin separating your items into categories: these can be makeup, hair, utensils or tools, towels and amenities, replacement items, decorative items, etc. We recommend separating all of the items that you no longer need or you have not used in at least 3 months into a separate pile regardless of the category they’d fit into (this will be the discard pile) to later toss them, sell them, or donate them.
Now that you have all your items laid out in different categories you can begin to organize them into your storage containers. The containers with your items can now be put away into the desired spaces. If you are going to display some of your containers we recommend trying to put them in a spot where you can freely decorate the area, making the containers appear like part of the decorative display. Finally, you have an all new bathroom and much more space to use!
There are many ways you can maximize the appearance of your space. One of the best ways to do it is by installing furniture and permanent fixtures that either hang from the wall or have a large space between the floor and them. A great way to do that is by installing a wall hung toilet, since the open space under the commode and the absence of a bulky tank will make the area seem spacious and wide, and will appear clutter free.
Another good option is by installing a relatively high vanity / washbasin counter. The same effect as the wall hung toilet will make your room appear very spacious and open in that area.
In addition to this, one can always make a room appear larger by modifying the colors of the walls, adding a window if possible, adjusting the lighting, and rearranging furniture.
So, now that you know all about our contemporary wall hung toilets you are prepared to re-establish your own style in your lavatory suite, and enjoy every moment you have in your personal oasis.
